Last Dance Rescue Ranch is a non profit animal sanctuary located near Charlevoix, Michigan. We provide lifelong care for domestic animals and livestock, with a focus on end of life care, hospice, and those with medical needs. We advocate for responsible animal ownership, spay/neuter programs, and living a lifestyle to support these beliefs.
The current population ranges from 80-100 animals including horses, steers, donkey and mules, goats, alpacas, llamas, sheep, chickens and turkeys. Also making their home here are dogs, cats, bunnies, and the occasional guinea pig. We take on new animals as space, time, and finances permit.
April and her team provide old, sick and unwanted farm animals with a new home at Last Dance Rescue Ranch.
Dogs and cats who require medical or end of life care have found a caring, love home at the ranch.
A little surprise for the ranch is baby alpaca Oakley who’s shown enjoying time with her aunties.
Dr. April North depends on monetary donations to help with expenses such as food and vet care for the animals at Last Dance Rescue Ranch. She also depends on volunteers to help with the barnyard chores as well as to provide much-needed affection to the animals.

It takes more than love to keep the Ranch running! Stall muck out, stacking hay, scrubbing water troughs, scooping poop, and keeping the feed stocked are critical to the operation. We are always looking for reliable helpers to lend a hand.
Last Dance Rescue Ranch is a 501 (c)(3) and we rely on monetary donations to help with veterinary expenses, hay and feed, and upkeep of fencing and shelters. We appreciate any support you can provide and accept online donations via PayPal.
